Scott Gale understands the highs and lows of parenting…. Scott knows that being a parent is not just an obligation, it is a blessing. Parenting takes time. It is extremely challenging. But nothing could be more satisfying and rewarding than being a parent…if you let it be.
During a Mother’s Day fiasco, Scott’s sense of reason gave way to emotion. “Black Sunday”, as he now calls it, opened his eyes to the need for change. Ironically, Scott found his solution during his preparation for a season of Fantasy Football.

Scott’s Personal Journey… Scott grew up as the son of two Baby Boomers in the growing suburbs of Southern California. He came from the stock of a special education teacher and a family therapist. His parents firmly believed in responsibility and finite expectations. He may not have appreciated it at the time, but it became ingrained his approach to life.
He met Karen in 1991 while on student exchange in Melbourne, Australia. They settled in Southern California and started a life together…careers, home and care-free fun.
Jack was born in March 1998 and Scott started business school at USC in August of that same year. Life immediately kicked into overdrive. We never slowed down and never looked back.
In August 2001, life’s hectic pace kicked up another notch. Max was born, Jack was growing, and Scott and Karen each juggled three “bowling balls”: family, career, and personal fulfillment. Unfortunately, they only had hodge-podge rules and standards where true structure was needed.
In early 2007, poor communication and hurt feelings caused Scott and Jack to drift apart emotionally. The rift culminated on Mother’s Day in a monumental breakdown… Black Sunday. Something had to change!
A few weeks later, Scott had an epiphany as he prepared for Fantasy Football. He discovered a tool that could provide clarity, consistency, and commitment in his family…the Family Constitution.

Professional Bio Scott Gale believes in the power of human interaction. He has spent his career negotiating contracts and creatively structuring land transactions as a homebuilder and residential land developer. He understands deals must work for everyone involved, particularly when long-term relationships are at stake. If not, feelings get hurt and trust erodes. Parties walk away with a wasted investment of their time….at best.
In 2006, he made the life-changing decision to leave the corporate world behind and partner with a private land development firm, Bluestone Communities. The slow residential industry has allowed him to share his experiences in his book, Your Family Constitution.
In his spare time, Scott loves to spend time with his family, coach baseball, and surf kayak.
